Hollywood Foundation Investment in SAJA
The Hollywood Foundation has committed a projected R17.3 million investment in the transformation of the South African Jockey Academy (SAJA), supporting the creation of a safe, welcoming and dignified environment for our apprentices, staff and visitors.
The renovation programme is being delivered across four phases, with Phase 1 marking the refurbishment of Block C, including the female and international apprentice dormitories. The R2.68 million Block C investment represents the first phase of the Foundation’s broader projected R17.3 million commitment to SAJA. This significant investment will continue across the four-phase programme, enhancing the Academy’s buildings, facilities and shared spaces.
More than a renovation, this investment represents a commitment to the young people who live, learn and train at SAJA, creating spaces that support their growth, development and future as they begin their careers in horseracing.
